Yarrow Tincture
Suggested uses:
- Great first aid plant
- Diaphoretic, astringent, anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, diuretic, bitter, hypotensive, anti-microbial
- Stops bleeding, even serious wounds, and hemorrhaging (can use tincture, but salve would be better)
- Stops nose bleeds if put a little tincture or salve up the nose
- Reverses broken noses too
- varicose veins, hemorrhoids (even bleeding ones), and clots- great to use salve on these
- bruises/ coagulated blood
- Can help concussions preventatively and afterward
- old bumps and bruises
- Tones blood vessels
- Infections to the bone
- Nourishes bone marrow
- leukemia
- Also for internal hemorrhaging (pooping blood, spitting up blood, etc.)
- Effective indigestion relief, IBS, and ulcerative colitis
- Diverticulitis
- Endometriosis
- Spleen remedy
- As a bitter, helps stomach and digestion
- Prolapses
- Relief from hot flashes (specifically hot flashes with a bright red face)
- Induction of day sweating
- Fever reliever
- Radiation remedy (x-rays, cancer treatments, etc.)- ointment preventatively on surrounding tissue
- Burn remedy
- Hypertension (also high blood pressure with type 2 Diabetes)
- Contraindications: allergy to daisy family, kidney inflammation, bradycardia (abnormally slow heart action)- can use topically during pregnancy, but not internally
- Can cause what it cures so do not use for more than 2 weeks at a time- could cause internal bleeding- rotate it
